The ONX statue about 10 feet tall was the symbol for the Vancouver olympics. It was fitting that they built this up on top looking across the valley to blackcomb. The sun had just risen behind me when I shot this.

That rainbow got a couple more light leaks until it produce this sun burst. Things are cool in the mountains. I would have never seen this from the couch.

7th Heaven View of Whistler

This shot was taken from across the valley as the sun was setting behind Black-Tusk a famous mountain in BC. To me it looks like a huge banana half eaten and the peel intact stuck on top of the mountain or some alien. Some imagination eh!. Look at that Sky !

I called this Brain-Coral-Snow This was caused by freeze, thaw, wind, snow, ice etc. In person its hard to describe. The things you find in the mountains!

One of my favorite runs. Two Snowboarders beat us in to this drop in but one you dropped in there was plenty to go around for all. This is a good day on the slopes. Check out the Canadian Rockies in the far distance.

Sunrise on top of the mountain. The people look tiny the sky looks partly cloudy and the snow is AWESOME!

One of my favorite Whistler shots is this lone skier at the point between snow on the mountain and clouds in the valley below. The sheer scale of this shot takes my breath away. To see this type thing in person is one of the many reasons I love skiing!

I called this my T-Bar to the clouds. (T-bar is a surface lift). The expansive mountains, the top of another lift down below, the clouds all support the fact that we were pretty high.

I liked where they built this jump as it looks like the skiier is jumping over thelift cables into the clouds.

Blackcomb panoramic was shot across the valley from another peak. These mountains are huge and endless.
