01 This is called The Cone at Mt Bachelor This was early December 2012 This is near the Base of the Mountain and the conditions were GREAT! Note The Cone is HIKE to SKI and no where near the SUMMIT . This Mountain is the 6th Largest in the US. I was very Lucky to ski this type condition in early December.

09 In order to have a 6 foot base on top and a 4 foot base on the bottom we did have a snow day as well. Did anyone say POWDER DAY at Bachelor!

02 I called this ICY STATUE because I liked the texture and the look of it. This guy is pointing at the SUMMIT. I guess he wants to make some turns!

10 Not all of the beautiful scenery is on the mountain. This was taken at DAWN just outside my room in BEND at the RIVER HOUSE Hotel. Check out the Pink Sky, the christmas tree, and the Raging River. BEND OREGON has lots to offer Unfortunately I had no free time to tour Bend with my camera. Guess I Have to go back!

16 KID in the TREES They have a great spot down low for skiers of any level to do some tree sking. These are wide open and pretty flat. That skier is about 3 feet tall!

03 I called this AWESOME DECEMBER Conditions From the top of the lift you can see the Clouds below and that snow cover is NATURAL. Check out those FLOCKED Trees.

11 The same River right outside my Room looking downstream an hour later! Almost looks like something I see in Maine! AWESOME!

17 Called Flocked Beauty These snow cladded trees against the blue sky made for some great scenery on my blue sky day at Bachelor.

24 This trip to BEND OREGON and Mt Bachelor was a whirlwind trip. On the way to the airport in Portland the shuttle driver was kind enough to let me get out and snap off a couple shots of Mt Hood. I have skied this Mountain before but not this trip. Mt Bachelor has more inbounds skiing to offer than Mt HOOD but it is one beautiful Volcano to look at!

04 Called into the Clouds this shot also shows the great cover that the trails had in early season!

19 Another EMPTY RUN this trail as well as many other trails in the OUTBACK region kind of keep the territory pretty wide open!

21 PINES of the Night! We went Snowshoeing and I was able to shoot some backcountry untracked. The pines lit up pretty good with the Flash.
